Dree Hemingway Biography
Dree Hemingway is the daughter of Mariel Hemingway and Stephen Crisman, and the great-granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway. Dree grew up in Idaho and attended Ernest Hemingway Elementary School. She later moved to California for middle school and lived in Westlake Village, California’s prestigious neighborhood of North Ranch. During high school, she attended Oaks Christian High School for the first 2.5 years and then moved away to pursue her modeling career.
Dree Hemingway began in the artistic industry as a star dancer. Dree made her modeling debut in campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch and DKNY. Since then she has posed for dozens of magazines including Purple Diary, Interview, W Magazine, Vogue, i-D and Love magazine.
In 2009 Dree was featured by the Mango website quedoisjeporterbymango.com. The same season we saw her posing for a Gucci campaign.
During Spring/Summer 2010 Dree Hemingway was becoming known as a rising star in the modelling world. At 22, she posed for three major fashion houses of the fashion world: Gianfranco Ferre, Jean Paul Gaultier and Valentino. Dree also catwalks each season for numerous brands including House of Holland, Rue de mail, Twenty8Twelve, Loewe, Karl Chanel and Lagerfeld. .
Dree Hemingway has worked with various modeling agencies and represented major companies in print advertising as well as in fashion shows. Here is a list of her current work:
